For a multi-sports hall, a range of colours are required to avoid confusion.
However, there are recognised colour schemes that are widely used.
The general rule of operation is the faster the ball game the lighter the colour of the court marking.
For players safety, an allowance for ‘run-off’ areas for different sports would be advisable.
The width of the line marking for Basketball Court is 50mm and the colour is mainly White or Black.
The width of the line marking for Netball Courts is 50mm and the colour is mainly White or Black.
The width of the line marking for Futsal Courts is 50mm & there is no specific colour.
The width of the line marking for Badminton Courts is 40mm and the colour is mainly Yellow.
The width of the line marking for Volleyball is 50mm and the colour is mainly Green.
